PHILLIPPE DUCLOS

Philippe Duclos is founder and CEO of Antheus Advisors, a management consulting firm based in Paris, serving large corporations on energy transition strategies, as well as small companies in wind, solar PV and hydrogen energy on their growth strategies.

From 1996 to 2011, Phillippe worked at McKinsey & Company, where he was a partner in the Electricity, Petroleum & Natural Gas Practice and in the Metals & Mining Practice. In 2012, he found Theano Advisors, a management consulting firm serving global corporations on large-scale transformations which he led until 2020.

Philippe started his career in the French Administration from 1986 to 1995, working on environment, energy and European policy, both as head of the EPA in a French region, member of the Prime Minister’s European office and Private Secretary to the French Environment Minister, Michel Barnier.

Philippe is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique in Paris with a BS in Mathematics and Economy and of the French Corps des Mines, Public Policy.

GARETH MILLER

Gareth has over two decades of director level experience across infrastructure project finance, energy policy, consultancy, and in the leadership of high-growth, insight-driven businesses that serve the energy sector. Gareth most recently served as the CEO of Cornwall Insight, a prominent energy analytics, research, and consultancy firm, covering the UK, Irish, Northern European, and Australian energy markets. Before that, he headed a successful renewable energy project finance team at Barclays covering the UK and Western Europe, as well as spending time at the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) devising policy as part of the UK’s Electricity Market Reform (EMR) programme. In addition, Gareth holds several advisory and non-executive positions. His expertise is in the commercial, investment and policy aspects of the energy transition.

Gareth has BSc Honours in Politics and Economics from the University of Bath.
