The Marketing Analyst will be a member of the fundraising, investor relations, and marketing, team. As part of a lean and dynamic team, the candidate must be able to plan, oversee, deliver, and manage numerous projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and adjust to changing priorities meeting deadlines with limited supervision.Responsibilities
Collateral Development:
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling marketing materials such as pitchbooks, presentations, fund reports, and other promotional materials. Ensure that these materials are accurate, consistent with the firm’s brand guidelines, and effectively communicate the firm’s investment strategy and performance.
Digital Marketing:
• Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, social media, website content.
• Help maintain the firm’s online presence and ensure the website is up to date with relevant information.
Investor Communications:
• Support the preparation and distribution of investor communications, including quarterly reports, fund updates, and newsletters.
• Coordinate with various teams within the firm to gather relevant information and ensure timely and accurate delivery of communications to investors.
Investor Relationship Management:
• Help manage relationships with existing investors by responding to inquiries, providing requested information, and addressing their concerns in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with the investor relations team to organize investor meetings, roadshows, and events.
Investor Database Management:
• Maintain and update the firm’s investor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date investor contact information, preferences, and communications history.
• Leverage the database to track investor interactions and generate reports for analysis and decision-making.
Market Research:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investor leads, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support the firm’s marketing strategy and business development efforts.
Branding and Event Support:
• Assist in managing the firm’s brand identity, including adherence to brand guidelines across various marketing channels. Support the planning and execution of marketing events, conferences, and industry seminars.
Compliance and Regulations:
• Adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards when communicating with investors, ensuring all materials and communications are compliant with relevant guidelines.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of the private equity industry, investment products, and financial markets.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Prior experience in marketing, investor relations, or financial services is a plus.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business, or a related field.
• 1+ years of asset management, investment banking, investment management, or private equity (would consider internship experience).
